The Process Competency Group is comprised of professionals who understand how processes that constitute a business work and interact. They analyze how these processes work and enhance them to add significant value and innovation to a client or industry. Often their approach takes best practices from one industry and applies them to another. Part of our work involves implementing information systems that manage and/or improve a client's business processes, which includes designing, coding, and testing the functional components of information systems for clients. Another part of our work involves the development of knowledge of business processes and functional aspects of information systems. More specifically, this requires the identification of functional requirements for a distinct area of an information system and participation in the design and coding of the systems, along with the identification of functional interfaces, definition of data requirements, and documentation for programs.
Qualifications:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who have a demonstrated track record in one of the following majors: engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, computer, systems), Computer Science, MIS, Math, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, and Business. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are highly desirable. Individuals should also be able to work in a team-oriented environment, have creative and analytical problem solving skills, and have the ability to be mobile and meet client travel requirements. The Strategic Services practice brings a broad range of capabilities to clients. These include business strategy, sales and marketing strategy, business reengineering, total supply chain management, logistics and operations strategy, and organizational change strategy. Our Strategy consultants regularly counsel with our clients' senior management and also interact with client workers at all levels to get their buy-in and to make change happen.
