Exxon, or Esso as it's predominantly known outside the United States, is a global leader in all aspects of the worldwide oil and gas business- exploration, production, manufaculing, distribution and marketing. Exxon and its affiliates are also leading producers of petrochemicals and have interests in coal, minerals and electric power generation. Exxon and its affiliated organizations operate or market products in over 100 countries.

For nearly a century, Esso Thailand has been dedicated to strengthening its petroleum business in order to, in turn, strengthen Thailand's economy. From the start, Esso has been aware that petroleum energy is vital to every aspect of economic and social development.

Esso has had operations in Thailand since 1894. The current business of the Esso group of companies encompasses exploration, refining, transportation, manufacturing, and customer service, and is also involved in activities related to exploration and production, chemicals, and domestic waterway transportation of fuels. Current refining capacity is 145,000 barrels per day. There are about 850 service stations throughout the kingdom with 21% market share. Esso Thailand presently employs about 1,600 employees.

1996 results show assets of 37 billion baht ans sales revenue of 61 billion baht.

Esso Thailand is currently seeking qualified applicants with a strong academic background, minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergrade degree and 3.2 for graduate degrees, excellent communications skills, including fluency in English and Thai, and 0-3 years of relevant experience, for the following potential assignments:
