Special assistant to the Assistant Governor in charged of the Natural Gas Business's Project Development Department
· Played an active role in the formation of PTT NGD Co., Ltd.; a joint venture company between the Petroleum Authority of Thailand, British Gas and Tractebel with the purpose of distributing natural gas within industrial estates in Thailand. Led the development of Technical Transfer Agreements between PTT NGD and the three partners. Trained and directed the laying of the distribution network.
· Participated in the feasibility study of integrating into the downstream petrochemical industry; major area of research was the feasibility of polypropylene production.
1993 - 1996 Project Engineer & Administrator
Member of the Gas Separation Plant Unit 3 Project Team involved in the construction of a US$ 150 million natural gas processing complex.
· In charged of the overall project budget, which involved the reviewing, auditing and approving of all financial transactions within the project as well as the compilation of the monthly financial, budget and overall progress reports.
· Reviewed, approved and inspected all mechanical & civil design and construction work performed by the contractor and suppliers.
· In charged of the application of permits for the construction and operation of gas storage spheres from the Public Works Department, calibration permits from the Excise Department and all other permits from relevant agencies.
· Designed models for the management of project resources including the consulting company's manpower plan.
