Dear Sir or Madam:

I am now a first year MSIA/MBA student at GSIA - Carnegie Mellon University and would like to be considered for employment as a summer intern in finance or consulting position.

Through my undergraduate education in industrial engineering, I acquired a strong background in production with many technical applications to improve the efficiency of production. As a credit analyst for industrial loans at Siam Commercial Bank, I learnt about finance and banking procedure in depth. I also had good opportunities to expose myself to various types of business. To be capable in serving the customers in the competitive lending market, I had to work as a team to analyze performance of many companies in various industries.

Some of my characteristics that fit me in the position include the followings: 1) ability to work hard, work smart and learn fast 2) strong quantitative and analytical skill 3) ability to work as a team. I am confident I have the knowledge and skills required to be a contributing member of a working environment.

I have enclosed my resume which provides additional information about my education and experience. Please feel free to contact me at the above address. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,
Vinavan Yawapongsiri
