Due to the increasing number of inquiries about job opportunities in Thailand, from students, professionals in North America and organizations in both Thailand and the USA, the Boston Job Fair is scheduled. The intent of this event is to provide Thai candidates suitable to organization's human resource needs and to provide students and professionals with career opportunities in Thailand. This event is also a step toward expanding the linkage between Thais abroad with Thailand and to support the Reverse Brain Drain project. If you are a company which has business in Thailand, or plan to do business with Thailand, or would like to hire Thai professionals and students, this event will serve your company's need. If you are students or professionals who are interested in job opportunities in Thailand, come to discuss professional employment opportunites with employer representatives from private corporations, government and educational institutions.

Benefits to Your Organization
Thai Link will present each company profile on the World-Wide-Web (WWW) prior and during the event. Interested parties can access the company profiles on the WWW, by hard copy or VCR during the event.
Each company profile will be presented to the participants for 10 minutes by the company representative or Thai Link representative. A VCR is also provided for continuous playing of company profiles. You will have direct contact with Thai professionals and students from famous colleges and universities.
To provide a linkage of all participants, the luncheon activities will include the comment, suggestion, and introduction from participants, and raffle drawings. Raffle prizes can be provided by your company. The organizer and other contributors will also provide the prizes. This will make the event more enjoyable.
The organizer will run a workshop to prepare participants for job interviews and resume writing. This activity will help both participants and companies to work together more effectively. Resume writing and interview tip services will also be provided during the event.
The participating companies will receive a resume booklet grouped by skill/area of specialty in alphabetical order by first name on Friday, February 23, 1996. The statistical summary of participants will also be included.
Thai Link will follow up to determine your company's needs and satisfaction.
Professionals and Students:
Mail or fax one resume and registration form to Thai Link even if you cannot attend the job fair event. Your resume will be considered.
The deadline for resumes is February 20, 1996. Make sure to submit your resume before the deadline and be prepared for an interview . If you need help in writing your resume, contact Thai Link or attend the "Career Search Preparation Workshop" . It's free of charge.
The recruiters will review the resumes and schedule interviews with potential candidates before or during the jobfair event. If you do not register for the job fair prior to the event, you may register the day of the event. You will meet with recruiters and Thai Link staff members who will guide you through the interview process. Participants will be exposed to many exciting career opportunities and may also have a chance to win prizes ranging from printer, modem, gift certificates and T-shirts. The panel disussion will provide you with information about what your homeland has to offer you. Your input to the panel will help Thailand organizations and Thais abroad to work together effectively.
Thai Link is also holding a Thai Link Logo Contest at the job fair. The winner receives a "Round Trip Ticket to Puerto Rico". Contestants, please send your most creative Thai Link Logos along with your resumes. The deadline is on Sunday February 11, 1996.
